Clinical Technology Analyst, Clinical Pharmacy Services

The Role:

Remedy Analytics is looking for a full time pharmacist to join their growing team. Remedy is already an industry leader in prescription drug benefit savings and analytics. You will join a talented team of pharmacists, actuaries, engineers and industry experts to enhance current capabilities and drive new product lines.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as clinical subject matter expert and liaison to the Technology and the Client Engagement/Sales teams
  • Develop and communicate clinical insight to key stakeholders
  • Review, analyze and provide clinical analysis to support internal business goals and advise clients
  • Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy/medical trends within the healthcare setting
  • Assist in the development of new clinical pharmacy services product offering
  • Create, maintain, and enhance clinical data analytics

 

Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge, experience and understanding of the PBM/Managed Care Industry
  • Quick self-motivated learner who can initiate and drive new projects
  • Excellent communication skills (you will be responsible for presenting your work to both technical and non-technical audiences)
  • Thrive in a start-up environment with minimal oversight and lots of responsibility
  • Intellectual curiosity — the position requires novel research to keep Remedy’s competitive edge
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong experience in MS Access and/or MS Excel with a working knowledge of MS office
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Pharmacy and/or medical data
  • Model Development and/or pharmacy data analytics
  • Experience with Hadoop HDFS, Hive, Pig, Impala, Spark, Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, SAS, Tableau or experience constructing data models is a plus 
Database Engineer

The Database Engineer will join a talented team of pharmacists, actuaries, engineers and industry experts to develop next generation healthcare delivery analytics.

Technical Requirements:

  • Expertise in SQL, preferably in an Oracle environment
  • Versed in writing high quality, reliable and maintainable code.
  • Experience in installing and maintaining Tableau Server; experience scripting Tableau Server backend is a plus, but not required.
  • Prowess in data processing (ETL – Extract, Transform, Load) from start to finish, including building triggers for failed loads.
  • Skilled in database design and creation including iterative processes with built in dependencies with adherence to best practices.
  • Good familiarity with data privacy and security systems.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in or passion for the healthcare, life sciences or drug benefits industries
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages
  • Experience with Hadoop Spark, Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL or data mapping
  • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Director of Client Engagement

The Role:

Remedy Analytics is looking for a full time Director of Client Engagement to join its growing team. Remedy is an industry leader in prescription drug benefit savings and analytics, the Director of Client Engagement will join a talented team of pharmacists, actuaries, engineers and industry experts to enhance current capabilities and drive new product lines. The Director of Client Engagement will work on all aspects of product and service delivery including Pharmalogic reporting and providing on-going advice and pharmacy benefit expertise, collaborating with our data and technology teams on analysis, leading RFP/procurement projects, auditing, market-check analysis, and providing exceptional actionable service to clients.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the strategic and tactical client relationship thus ensuring retention of clients and associated revenue
  • Assist with Pharmalogic reporting including the evaluation of client utilization, trends and key findings within the pharmacy claim data
  • Manage the RFP/procurement and market-check process for assigned accounts which includes creating project timelines and project plans, coordinating PBM data requests, creating RFP via an on-line procurement tool, evaluation and assessment of PBM RFP responses, and creation of summary reports, financial analysis and presentations
  • Lead contract reviews and PBM contract negotiations
  • Manage the audit process for assigned accounts which includes creating a statement of work, leading kick-off calls with client and PBMs, assisting the audit department with the data request coordination, and preparation and presentation of the audit summary findings reports

Key Qualifications:

  • Exceptional ability to positively represent Remedy Analytics externally to clients and prospects
  • Strong experience developing and maintaining effective, collaborative working relationships with clients and internal partners to provide solutions to complex pharmacy benefit decisions
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills – a detailed and creative thinker
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to facilitate effective conversations both internally, and externally with clients
  • Ability to thrive in a start-up environment with minimal oversight and lots of responsibility
  • Team player who is takes initiative, is self-directed, eagerly seeks the next hardest challenge, and encourages cooperation among the team
  • Knowledge, experience and understanding of the PBM/Managed Care Industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare related field and/or relevant Pharmacy Benefit consulting or PBM experience
