Senior Broker Sales Representative

Reporting to the CMO and CFO, the Senior Sales Representative is responsible for finding new broker-sourced client accounts within a certain North American territory and, once secured, growing and nurturing both the new client and the broker itself through up-selling, cross-selling new services, and renewal. Execution of tasks ranges from initial prospecting and lead development all the way to contracting and beyond. The Senior Broker Sales Representative also assists in new-client on-boarding and ongoing trouble-shooting, providing steady stewardship through each subsequent renewal. Success is predicated on targeted strategic plans, strong collaboration with the broker and other parts of the Remedy business, excellent negotiation skills and objection handling, and delivery of customer value by building strong relationships and sophisticated solutions.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Meet and exceed revenue quota through the management and execution of the sales process.
  • Prospect for new business (brokers and clients) and manage of all phase of the sales pipeline. Maintain a high lead-to- close conversion rate.
  • Employ consultative sales techniques to generate new opportunities and manage renewals, together driving accelerated growth.
  • Develop and build meaningful relationships with high-level, influential contacts at both the broker and end-client.
  • Collaborate closely with other Remedy sales and client-engagement functions to help ensure service levels and value-add needs are met
  • Maintain CRM activity log, showing progress through the pipeline and specific activities and next steps. All leads, opportunities, activities, contacts, customers’ explicit needs, advances and buying cycle status are captured and described in a timely manner.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, as requested, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses, utilizing the CRM and other technology.
  • Suggest adjustments to, or customizations of, the content of sales-deck presentations by learning the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Learn and engage with Remedy’s PharmaLogicTM platform to ensure full comprehension for sales and client relationship activity.
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results, client feedback, and competitive developments.
  • Resolve customer requests by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management; etc.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the prescription drug business by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and remotely (unless in the Milwaukee area) serving a defined region that is known to candidate.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a B2B sales corporate environment, preferably in prescription-drug or health insurance-related fields.
  • Excellent communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills.
  • Consultative sales and negotiation skills.
  • Possess a “hunter” attitude for strategic sales, adept at all phases of selling cycle, from lead creation, proposal preparation, negotiation to deal closure.
  • Ability to add value to the relationship by distilling, summarizing, interpreting and communicating information to facilitate its usefulness.
  • Very strong planning and organization skills, able to prioritize and adapt.
  • Ability to be self-starting and self-directing; comfortable to work independently and possible remotely.
  • Competent with systems (CRM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel.

 

VP of Engineering 

Remedy Analytics is looking for a VP of Engineering to lead a growing technical team, manage current offerings while advancing future product and service capabilities through technology and innovation.

Key Qualifications:

  • Vision and strategy to develop the company’s technical resources in alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate has a passion for product development.
  • Able to make critical decisions on behalf of technical team
  • Supervise, build and improve system infrastructure, data quality, and product performance to ensure quality, efficiency, and performance at scale
  • Strong technical background encompassing knowledge in all of the following areas:
    • Analytics
    • Database Administration
    • Machine Learning
    • Automated data processing
      • Quality Assurance
      • ETL (Extract, Transform & Load)
  • Desire and ability to grow with the position
  • Leadership to inspire and grow the team

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of relational database structures including experience data modeling, Oracle preferred
  • Experience turning data into insight through analysis
  • Experience administering enterprise level software
  • Passionate about using machine learning, AB testing and other advanced analytics to improve products
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team in agile development environment
  • Strong problem solving and technology strategy capabilities
  • Substantial knowledge of data security and privacy measures
  • Prior management experience with mixed skill level teams
  • Ability to discover and implement technologies that yield competitive advantage
  • Ability to communicate strategy to management, investors and key stakeholders

Nice to have:

  • Experience in or passion for the healthcare, life sciences or drug benefits industries
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA compliance
  • Experience with Hadoop and related database infrastructure
  • Degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
